What to Know Before You Arrive

Getting Here

When travelling north on the N2 from Durban, approximately 260 kms from King Shaka International Airport and 27kms past the Hluhluwe turnoff, turn left onto the dirt road sign posted P450 (Manyoni South Gate), opposite the Baobab Inn and Engen filling station.

When travelling south on the N2 from Pongola/Johannesburg, approximately 20kms past the Mkuze turnoff, turn right onto the dirt road sign posted P450 (Manyoni South Gate), opposite the Baobab Inn and Engen filling station.

Our entrance gate (Manyoni South Gate) is the first gate on your right hand side, 4.8kms along the P450 road. Once at Manyoni South Gate, you will be greeted by our friendly security officer and directed to Rhino River Lodge which is a further 5.5kms inside the reserve.
