Rhino River Lodge is a family-owned Big 5 safari lodge set within the 57,000-acre Manyoni Private Game Reserve in the heart of Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, just a leisurely 3 hour drive north of King Shaka International Airport. And only 30 km north of Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park.

Days at Rhino River Lodge start and end with game drives in the reserve guided by one of our knowledgeable rangers. While out in the bush, look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, cheetah and rhino as well as a variety of birds such as barbets, rollers, kingfishers, sunbirds and hornbills. Before heading back to the lodge, your guide will stop to give you the chance to take in the beauty of the bush, while enjoying drinks and snacks.
The lodge can accommodate 24 people at any time. Choose from three types of accommodation that suit families, small groups, and couples staying at our safari lodge in KZN Deluxe Suite Rooms, Family Loft Chalets, and two Private Safari Houses, The Cottage and the Homestead.
All accommodation options are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans, private verandahs, mosquito nets, tea and coffee stations and fully stocked mini-bars. The Private Safari Houses offer the added luxury of spacious decks and private plunge pools.
